Beef Tenderloin
DESCRIPTION
This Beef Tenderloin is seasoned with our Texas Steak & Brisket seasoning, seared to develop a flavorful crust, and roasted until perfectly medium rare. Tender, juicy, and rich in beef flavor, this premium center-of-plate entrée delivers the classic steakhouse experience and pairs well with a variety of sides and sauces.
INGREDIENTS
Approx. Yield: 50 servings| Beef tenderloin | 2 × 6 lb tenderloins |
| Olive oil | ¼ cup |
| Spicelopedia® Steak & Brisket seasoning | ½ cup |
STEPS
- Truss the tenderloins, then thoroughly season on all sides.
- Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.
- Remove from the fridge and let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan or hotel pan over medium-high heat. Sear both tenderloins for 3–4 minutes per side until browned all around.
- Transfer to a 425°F oven and cook until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (medium rare), about 30 minutes, or until desired doneness.
