INGREDIENTS

Servings: 1
Chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces 8 oz.
Spicelopedia® Italian Lemon Pepper Seasoning 4 tsp
Celery, ½-inch diced 2 fl. oz.
Onion, ½-inch diced 2 fl. oz.
Minced garlic 1 tsp
Carrots, ¼-inch diced 2 fl. oz.
Tomatoes, ½-inch diced 2 fl. oz.
Prepared red wine demi-glace 4 fl. oz.
Prepared polenta 4 fl. oz.
Fresh basil, chopped 1 Tbsp

STEPS

  1. Season the chicken breast pieces generously with Spicelopedia® Italian Lemon Pepper Seasoning.
  2. Heat a lightly greased sauté pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned on all sides.
  3. Add the celery, onions, garlic, carrots, and tomatoes. Sauté for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour in the prepared red wine demi-glace. Cover the pan, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Spoon the warm polenta onto a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  6. Top with the Osso Bucco Style Chicken mixture and garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
