Honey Lime Salmon
DESCRIPTION
This Honey Lime Salmon is a vibrant blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors with a gentle heat from Spicelopedia® Peri Peri seasoning. Tender salmon fillets are coated in a flavorful glaze made with honey, fresh lime juice, garlic, and soy sauce, then cooked until perfectly caramelized on the outside while remaining flaky and moist inside. The honey creates a lightly crisped finish, while the lime adds a bright citrus lift that balances the richness of the fish. Easy to prepare yet full of bold flavor, this dish is perfect for a fresh, restaurant-quality meal at home.
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4| Salmon fillets (skin-on or skin-off), 6 oz. each | 4 |
| Garlic cloves, minced | 5 |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tbsp. |
| Honey | ¼ cup |
| Fresh lime juice | 1½ Tbsp. |
| Spicelopedia® Peri Peri seasoning | 1 Tbsp. |
| Vegetable oil | 3 Tbsp. |
STEPS
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and fresh lime juice. Stir well and set aside.
- Season the top side of the salmon fillets with Spicelopedia® Peri Peri seasoning.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and heat until shimmering. Place the salmon in the pan, seasoned side down, and sear for 4–5 minutes until golden.
- Reduce heat to medium, flip the salmon fillets, and pour the honey-lime sauce into the skillet. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes, spooning sauce over the salmon as it cooks, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and transfer to a serving plate. If desired, continue cooking the sauce for a few more minutes to reduce and thicken slightly, being careful not to burn it.
- Spoon the sauce over the salmon, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately with lime wedges.
