Honey & Chili Spiked Granola
DESCRIPTION
This Honey & Chili Spiked Granola is a sweet-and-spicy twist on a classic homemade granola. Crunchy cashews, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds create a hearty, textured base, while golden honey adds natural sweetness and helps everything bake into crisp clusters. Spicelopedia® Peri Peri seasoning brings a subtle heat that balances the sweetness and gives each bite a warm, unexpected kick. Finished with chewy raisins, this granola works perfectly as a breakfast topping, yogurt mix-in, or standalone snack for something both nourishing and bold.
INGREDIENTS
| Almonds | 1 cup |
| Cashews | 1 cup + 2 Tbsp. |
| Sunflower seeds | 1 cup |
| Pumpkin seeds | 1 cup |
| Raisins | 1 cup |
| Coconut oil | 5 Tbsp. |
| Honey (or maple syrup) | 3 Tbsp. |
| Spicelopedia® Peri Peri seasoning | 1 Tbsp. |
STEPS
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- Roughly grind all of the nuts and seeds (except for the 2 Tbsp. of cashews) in a food processor.
- Transfer the mixture to a large bowl. Add the whole cashews, raisins, coconut oil, honey, and Spicelopedia® Peri Peri seasoning. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly across the surface.
- Bake for about 20 minutes total. After 10 minutes, stir the granola gently to prevent burning and promote even baking.
- Remove from the oven and allow the granola to cool completely before serving or storing so it can crisp up.
