INGREDIENTS

Approximate Yield: 1 entree
Filet mignon 6 oz. wt.
Spicelopedia® Primo Steak & Grill seasoning 2 tsp
Brandy 2 TB
Demi glace 4 oz. vol
Cream 2 TB

STEPS

  1. Season filet on both sides with Spicelopedia® Primo Steak & Grill seasoning and place into a greased sauté pan over medium heat.
  2. Cook to desired temperature, then remove filet from pan and set aside.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and deglaze the pan with brandy. Cook until barely any liquid remains.
  4. Add demi glace and bring to a boil. Lower heat and stir in cream.
  5. Bring sauce to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes, or until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve filet topped with the sauce.
