Chili Lime Seared Ahi Tuna

STEPS
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together 2 tsp Spicelopedia Chili Lime Adobo seasoning, Thai-style chili sauce, soy sauce, and 3 Tbsp olive oil. Add tuna steaks and coat all sides well. Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes.
- Heat a 10–12 inch skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add 3 Tbsp olive oil.
- Remove tuna from marinade and coat both sides evenly with remaining 2 tsp Spicelopedia Chili Lime Adobo seasoning.
- Sear tuna on one side for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches approximately 115°F.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.
