Cajun Honey Butter Cod

 

INGREDIENTS

Servings: 4
Olive oil (divided) 4 Tbsp.
Cod fillets 4 (6 oz. each)
Spicelopedia™ Rajun Cajun seasoning 2 Tbsp.
Butter 4 Tbsp.
Honey 2 Tbsp.
Soy sauce 1 Tbsp.
Garlic cloves (minced) 2
Lemon juice ½ lemon

STEPS

  1. Heat a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the cod fillets with 2 Tbsp. olive oil, then season evenly with Spicelopedia Rajun Cajun seasoning.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add the remaining olive oil to the pan, then place the fish in the hot pan. Cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Flip the fish and cook for another 3 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine butter, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and mix until combined.
  7. Serve sauce over each fillet and garnish with fresh lemon.
