STEPS
- Preheat a 3-quart air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, apple pie spice, and half of the Spicelopedia™ Peri Peri seasoning until well combined.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, 1/3 cup apple cider, and vanilla extract. Add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk until combined. Fold in chopped apples.
- Using two small spoons, drop batter into 2-inch mounds, spacing them about 2 inches apart in the prepared air fryer basket. Spray tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp, turning once halfway through cooking. Transfer fritters to a baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, remaining Spicelopedia™ Peri Peri seasoning, and 2 Tbsp. apple cider. Drizzle glaze over warm fritters before serving.
