Braised Beef with Porcini and Tagliatelle

Braised Beef with Porcini and Tagliatelle is a rich, comforting pasta dish layered with deep, savory flavors. Tender boneless beef short ribs are seasoned with Spicelopedia® Mt. Royal Steak & Brisket seasoning and slowly braised until melt-in-your-mouth tender. Earthy porcini mushrooms, roasted red and green peppers, red wine, and a velvety demi-glace create a luxurious sauce that coats every strand of tagliatelle. Finished with fresh parsley, this elegant dish delivers the perfect balance of hearty beef, earthy mushrooms, and rich, slow-cooked flavor.

| Spicelopedia® Mt. Royal seasoning | 4 tsp |
| Dried porcini mushrooms | ¼ oz. wt. |
| Roasted red & green bell peppers | 2 oz. wt. |
| Tagliatelle pasta | 4 oz. wt. |
| Red wine | 2 fl. oz. |
| Demi-glace (prepared) | 8 fl. oz. |
| Chopped parsley | 1 Tbsp. |
STEPS
- Season short ribs on both sides with Spicelopedia® Mt. Royal seasoning.
- Season bell peppers with Mt. Royal seasoning and roast in the oven until tender and lightly caramelized.
- Soak porcini mushrooms in water for 30 minutes, then remove and lightly chop.
- Sear short ribs in a pan until browned on all sides. Deglaze with red wine, then add prepared demi-glace and chopped porcini mushrooms.
- Cover and braise for 60–90 minutes, or until the beef is tender and soft.
- Serve short ribs with roasted bell peppers and tagliatelle pasta.
