Texas Shredder Beef Sandwich

INGREDIENTS
Approx. Yield: 50 servings| Beef tenderloin | 15 lbs. |
| Pepperoncini (stems removed, juice reserved) | 4 × 16 oz. jars |
| Spicelopedia® Steak & Brisket seasoning | ½ cup |
| Lone Star beer | 48 oz. (4 × 12 oz. cans) |
| White onion (½” slices) | 2 lbs. |
| Beef broth | 2 quarts |
| Hoagie buns | 50 buns |
STEPS
- Season beef and place onto a greased pan. Brown on all sides, about 3 minutes per side.
- Remove beef and place into a hotel pan.
- Add pepperoncini (with juice), Lone Star beer, onion, and beef broth to the hotel pan.
- Cover and place into a 350°F oven for 5 hours.
- Remove from oven and allow to rest for 45 minutes.
- Carefully shred beef using tongs.
- Serve shredded beef in its juices alongside hoagie buns.
