Baked Parmesan Scallops

 
 

INGREDIENTS

Approx. Yield: 1 entrée
Scallops (U10) 3
Spicelopedia’s Italian Lemon Pepper seasoning 1 tsp.
Grated Parmesan ¼ cup
Cold unsalted butter, small diced 1 Tbsp.

STEPS

  1. Combine Spicelopedia’s Italian Lemon Pepper seasoning and grated Parmesan in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
  2. Place a portion of the seasoning mixture in the center of a ramekin and press it flat.
  3. Place scallops on top of the seasoning layer and sprinkle with the remaining seasoned Parmesan mixture.
  4. Top scallops with small cubes of cold butter.
  5. Bake in a 400°F oven for 9 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a broiler and broil until lightly browned. Remove immediately and serve.
