Sweet & Spicy Salmon Filets

STEPS
- Place salmon fillets in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- Add Spicelopedia® Texas Brisket seasoning and gently toss to coat all sides of the fish.
- Heat a sauté pan over medium-high heat and lightly coat with cooking spray. Add salmon fillets.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 5 minutes, depending on thickness.
- Flip the salmon once the flesh has lightened about ¾ of the way up. Sear for another 1–2 minutes.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine maple syrup and soy sauce. Warm slightly, then stir.
- Serve sauce over salmon fillets.
