| Dark brown sugar | 1 cup |
| Ruby port wine | ½ cup |
| Cinnamon stick | 1 |

STEPS
- Wash the orange. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the orange peel, then slice the peel into thin strips. Juice the orange and set aside.
- Add the orange juice, cranberries, and orange peel strips to a saucepan. Stir in the dark brown sugar, ruby port, Spicelopedia® Peri Peri seasoning, and cinnamon stick.
- Simmer the mixture over low heat until the cranberries begin to burst and the sauce thickens, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally while cooking.
- Transfer the cranberry sauce to a bowl and allow it to cool slightly. Remove the cinnamon stick, then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
