BBQ Bacon-Wrapped Honey Jalapeno Shrimp

 

INGREDIENTS

Approx. Yield: 50 × portions (3 shrimp ea.)
Shrimp (31/35), peeled & deveined 5 lbs.
Bacon strips, cut in half 50 halves (about 2 lbs.)
Spicelopedia’s Sweet & Smokey BBQ seasoning ½ cup + 1 TB
Jalapeño, minced and seeds removed ¼ cup
Honey 1 cup

STEPS

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp with ½ cup seasoning and toss until fully coated.
  2. Place shrimp on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a convection oven at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. In a small bowl, combine honey with 1 TB seasoning and minced jalapeño. Brush mixture over shrimp.
  4. Serve hot.
